Leiyang Power Plant

The Datang Leiyang Power Plant, originally known as the Leiyang Power Plant in Hunan Province, was first planned in 1983 and officially established in 1987. In 2002, China implemented a nationwide power sector reform, leading to the creation of five major power generation groups across the country. As a result, the Leiyang Power Plant in Hunan Province was incorporated into the China Datang Corporation, subsequently renamed the Datang Leiyang Power Plant. Today, it operates as a wholly-owned enterprise under the Datang Group.
